What should I check before ordering a test?
Before you order a test, check these points so the employee is sent to the right place for the right test:
- Employee: the right person, with an active record and a current phone number or email for the notification.
- Existing requests: an open request for the same service. Med-Stop shows it during the request so you can close it or keep it.
- Service, reason, and DOT status: DOT tests must use the DOT reason that applies; do not use a DOT test for a company-policy reason.
- Random selection: for a random test, start from the selection so the request is linked.
- Site: open on the date and time you choose, offers the service, and can do an observed collection if needed.
- Payment: enough prepaid Med-Stop credit, or another payment form.
