Med-Stop Help / Using Med-Stop system via internet browser

Med-Stop Tresting Station service access

To create a test record, please go to:
https://med-stop.com/client/

In order to perform tests, all Med-Stop stations must be authorized in the system. Since this process is done manually, you need to call the number located in the top-right corner of the screen. Alternatively, follow the instructions displayed below the login prompt for guidance on how to authorize the station.
When calling the call center, you must be in front of the station with this browser window open. The operator will request the Station Authorization Code, located a few lines below the Login button, as well as the physical location of the computer. Additional verification may also be required.

At this step, you are required to log in using your individual username and password. Do not write down your login credentials on a piece of paper or, worse, stick them to your monitor where others can see them. "Others" include colleagues, patients, bystanders, cleaning staff, or even your mail carrier. Memorize your login credentials or, if absolutely necessary, store them in a secure place. Remember, the security of our customers’ personal data is at stake.
Please note that you will be assigned specific privileges within the Med-Stop system, which determine the types of tests you can perform and the information you can access.

Depending on your privileges and account status, different prompts or alerts may appear upon login. Some alerts are critical and must be resolved before proceeding with any test. Others may be skipped temporarily but doing so is not recommended.

Clicking the update area (e.g., "Click here to update your Medical Insurance information") will open a screen for updating your information. In the example provided, the insurance information is missing, and the following screen requires that this information be updated. You cannot proceed with a medical examination unless the medical doctor or chiropractor has a valid medical license and up-to-date insurance information on file.

By default, personal information is not editable to prevent mistakes and unintended changes. To update this information, click the "Protected Info Update" button at the bottom of the screen. Always ensure you are logged in with your own username and password when performing any updates.

There are several roles that users may be certified for:

Drug test sample collection

Alcohol testing

Medical/physical examination

You will be asked which roles you are certified and authorized to perform during initial user setup, either by your location administrator or Med-Stop personnel.

Drug and alcohol test collectors are not required to provide a medical license or malpractice insurance. However, medical doctors and chiropractors performing medical exams must provide and maintain this information. The system will remind you when your documents are nearing expiration (see Figure II-6). Failing to update this information will result in automatic suspension of your ability to perform medical exams. However, your privileges for drug and/or alcohol testing will remain active if those roles were initially assigned.
